I had finished the year 2018<\/strong> by proclaiming that I didn’t like retrospectives of all kinds \u2026 So here is my retrospective of a year 2019 <\/strong>rich in souvenirs \ud83d\ude42
Well yes, there are only fools who don’t change their mind as they say in the Bouchonnois!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What can we learn from this past year? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Events<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

2019 has been an opportunity for me to participate in two very beautiful events that are as originals <\/strong>as exceptionals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First in Martinique to participate as a judge in the first Martinique Rhum Awards<\/strong>, a first for me!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As well as in Cognac <\/strong>where my love for Caroni was satisfied in Hardcore mode with the famous Caroni Ceremony<\/strong> organized by Luca Gargano. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond the purely \u00ab\u00a0Rum<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb aspect, these two events will have been remarkable for their human <\/strong>dimension. Very nice meetings and great moments of sharing \u2026 Another big thank you to the people who contributed to all of this!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, other great meetings took place this year, including an evening with my friend Bert <\/strong>from Asta Morris in the north of the country, the friends at Whisky Live<\/strong>, at the Li\u00e8ge Whisky Festival<\/strong> and at the unmissable Salon du rhum de Spa<\/strong> . <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plus a whole series of evenings and other memorable encounters (Hello bollocks, bruts, amis of friends du rhum and many others<\/em>!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
