Le rythme s\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e8re avec l\u2019arriv\u00e9e tant attendue du cinqui\u00e8me embouteillage de la s\u00e9rie \u00ab\u00a0The Sins<\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0, o\u00f9 chaque spiritueux incarne un des sept p\u00e9ch\u00e9s capitaux. Apr\u00e8s avoir explor\u00e9 la gourmandise avec un calvados riches et g\u00e9n\u00e9reux, la luxure avec un tr\u00e8s vieil armagnac, l\u2019avarice avec un superbe Long Pond et l’envie avec un whisky bien Old Style, il est temps d\u2019accueillir l\u2019orgueil !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Et cette fois ci, notre ami Rob Bauer<\/a> aura \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionner un Cognac chez Lh\u00e9raud<\/a><\/strong>, que nous avons d\u00e9j\u00e0 eu l’occasion de d\u00e9couvrir ici<\/a> ou encore ici<\/a>. Et le moins que l’on puisse dire est que le niveau atteint chez ce gens l\u00e0 est assez haut !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C’est dire l’excitation qu’il peut y avoir face \u00e0 ce 5em<\/sup> embouteillage o\u00f9 nous allons pouvoir d\u00e9couvrir un Cognac du cru \u00ab\u00a0Petite Champagne\u00a0\u00bb, distill\u00e9 \u00e0 partir d’Ugni Blanc en 1980 <\/strong>et vieilli durant 44 longues ann\u00e9es. Ce dernier a \u00e9t\u00e9 embouteill\u00e9 188 fois par Distilia <\/strong>et titre 46.3%<\/strong> d’alcool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nez<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Un nez tr\u00e8s brioch\u00e9 o\u00f9 un beau panel fruit\u00e9 d’offre \u00e0 nous. L’on va passer par les fruits exotiques comme la mangue, la papaye ou encore le litchi en sirop par les agrumes gorg\u00e9s de jus et les raisins secs de Corinthe, tout en allant faire un tour par l’acidit\u00e9 de quelques fruits rouges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le bois\u00e9 sera bien entendu pr\u00e9sent avec quelques d\u00e9licates notes de chocolat au lait, de fin caramel, de fruits \u00e0 coque et d’\u00e9pices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais c’est clairement le fruit\u00e9 qu’il faut mentionner dans ce nez tr\u00e8s parfum\u00e9 o\u00f9 l’alcool est parfaitement fondu \u00e0 cet agr\u00e9able ensemble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bouche<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

L’entr\u00e9e en bouche est toute douce, tr\u00e8s fruit\u00e9e encore avec ces fruits exotiques si agr\u00e9ables, quelques fines traces de cassis sur un lit caram\u00e9lis\u00e9 tr\u00e8s gourmand, accompagn\u00e9 de dattes, abricots et autres pruneaux confits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le profil reste brioch\u00e9, p\u00e2tissier avec un bois\u00e9 relativement fin et \u00e9l\u00e9gant o\u00f9 l’on pourra d\u00e9tecter quelques traces de th\u00e9 noir, de fleurs s\u00e9ch\u00e9es, de miel et le chocolat noir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’alcool est ici aussi impeccable, c’est tr\u00e8s concentr\u00e9, frais et tr\u00e8s gourmand… superbe travail du temps sur ce spiritueux, comme quoi, \u00ab\u00a0Patience is a virtue my friend…<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un cognac tout en \u00e9l\u00e9gance, gourmandise et fruit\u00e9, avec un alcool totalement fondu et int\u00e9gr\u00e9. Must Have pour ceux qui ont les moyens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
