Pourtant, j\u2019ai eu l\u2019occasion de d\u00e9guster quelques samples de leurs productions. Si bien qu&rsquo;en recevant un \u00e9chantillon de la derni\u00e8re s\u00e9lection de <strong>Grape Of The Art<\/strong>, j\u2019ai \u00e9t\u00e9 ravi de d\u00e9couvrir qu\u2019il venait de chez eux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jean-Philippe, le responsable du domaine, est un visage assez connu, il est en effet assez pote avec les mecs de la Canne 2.0 et du coup j&rsquo;ai tendance \u00e0 souvent voir passer de ses nouvelles sur Facebook. Les quelques samples d\u00e9gust\u00e9s m&rsquo;ont toujours fait forte impression, mais je ne sais pour quelle obscure raison, ce domaine est absent de mes publications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Voici donc le moment opportun pour palier \u00e0 ce grave manquement \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Originaire de <strong>Perquie dans les Landes<\/strong>, ce domaine d\u00e9bute au d\u00e9but de 20em si\u00e8cle sur les parcelles de vignes de l\u2019arri\u00e8re grand-m\u00e8re de Jacques et Claude Lartigue. En 1985, le souhait de se \u00ab\u00a0d\u00e9barasser\u00a0\u00bb de ces vignes 100% Baco font que Jacques et son fr\u00e8re Claude d\u00e9cid\u00e8rent d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir ces parcelles de 2 hectares afin de relancer la production d\u2019armagnac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le Domaine de Charron a mobilis\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9poque tous les moyens n\u00e9cessaires pour \u00e9laborer son armagnac. Le travail de la vigne fut confi\u00e9 \u00e0 un viticulteur voisin, l&rsquo;expertise de distillateurs ambulant de Villeneuve-de-Marsan et l\u2019utilisation syst\u00e9matique de f\u00fbts neufs pour chaque r\u00e9colte ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 atteindre le niveau de qualit\u00e9 recherch\u00e9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aujourd&rsquo;hui, <strong>Jean-Philippe Balay<\/strong>, gendre du fondateur Claude Lartigue, dirige le domaine qui, sur seulement trois hectares de vignobles exclusivement Baco, leur permet une production annuelle de 5 \u00e0 10 f\u00fbts. A noter que depuis 2012, le domaine de Charron dispose de son propre alambic, datant de 1940.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">C&rsquo;est donc dans ce chouette domaine que Grape Of The Art a \u00e9t\u00e9 nous s\u00e9lectionner ce mill\u00e9sime 2004, \u00e2g\u00e9 de 19 ans et qui titre 51.3% pour une \u00e9dition limit\u00e9e \u00e0 256 bouteilles, venant du f\u00fbt #95. On est clairement sur quelque chose de tr\u00e8s cr\u00e8me p\u00e2tissi\u00e8re, cr\u00e8me br\u00fbl\u00e9e, muscade, vanille bourbon, petit beurre, toffee, caramel et \u00e9pic\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les fruits ressortent bien de tout cela, fruits \u00e0 chaire jaune, cerise, dattes, pruneaux, banane, raisins en sirop avec un voile bois\u00e9 o\u00f9 l&rsquo;on va retrouver des traces de chocolat, bois laqu\u00e9, tabac, fruits \u00e0 coque torr\u00e9fi\u00e9s, caf\u00e9 et une fine r\u00e9glisse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cela semble tr\u00e8s gouach\u00e9, tr\u00e8s bourbon voir m\u00eame Foursquare&#8230; en gros, cela semble tr\u00e8s bon et bien gourmand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bouche<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bouche tr\u00e8s gourmande et chaleureuse, une pointe d&rsquo;acidit\u00e9 nous accueille pour revenir ensuite sur quelque chose de plus caram\u00e9lis\u00e9, bois\u00e9 et gouach\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&rsquo;orange sanguine se retrouve d\u00e8s lors accompagn\u00e9e par le chocolat noir, le caramel, la vanille, la r\u00e9glisse, les noix, le tabac et la muscade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ensuite, la cerise confite revient avec de belles notes de banane cuite et de raisins secs. Encore une fois, le caramel mou l\u00e9g\u00e8rement sal\u00e9 se rallie \u00e0 tout cela et une finale sur le chocolat noir intense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&rsquo;alcool est tr\u00e8s bien int\u00e9gr\u00e9, rendant cet armagnac tr\u00e8s gourmand et \u00ab\u00a0dangereusement\u00a0\u00bb agr\u00e9able \ud83d\ude42 Petit b\u00e9mol, peut \u00eatre l\u00e9g\u00e8rement \u00e9c\u0153urant sur la fin&#8230; exc\u00e8s de gourmandise ? \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prix<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">121\u20ac<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Haaa ben c&rsquo;est cochon cette histoire, tr\u00e8s \u00ab\u00a0facile\u00a0\u00bb et gourmand, cet armagnac est vraiment tr\u00e8s bien \u00e9quilibr\u00e9 et accessible&#8230;. belle r\u00e9ussite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bon, va falloir r\u00e9ellement se pencher sur ce domaine \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Score<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">89\/100<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Le Domaine de Charron, c&rsquo;est un nom que je connais \u00ab\u00a0sans le connaitre\u00ab\u00a0, et dont je n\u2019ai encore jamais parl\u00e9 sur ce blog.
