En tant que premier embouteilleur ind\u00e9pendant \u00e0 se voir confier un f\u00fbt de ce prestigieux domaine, nous sommes fiers de vous pr\u00e9senter l\u2019exceptionnel Pellehaut 1988<\/strong> !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C’est en ces mots que nos amis de chez Grape Of The Art<\/a> ont d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de nous pr\u00e9senter leur dernier n\u00e9, un Armagnac T\u00e9nar\u00e8ze <\/strong>100% Ugni Blanc<\/strong> distill\u00e9 par une personne qu’on aime beaucoup sur ce blog, Patrick Michalouski <\/a>! N’h\u00e9sitez d’ailleurs pas \u00e0 aller lire son portait sur le tr\u00e8s chouette site de Row Spirits<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On y apprend que son plus gros client est le domaine Pellehaut<\/strong>, domaine o\u00f9 il passe 3 semaines par an avec ses deux alambics ! Et justement, c’est ici que nos copains nous donnent rendez-vous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le Ch\u00e2teau de Pellehaut<\/strong>, abrite une belle et longue histoire. Celle de la famille B\u00e9raut <\/strong>install\u00e9e \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al-du-Gers depuis quatre si\u00e8cles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans les ann\u00e9es 50, dipl\u00f4me d\u2019agronomie en poche, Gaston B\u00e9raut<\/strong> reprend la direction de la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 familiale et acquiert successivement de nouveaux terrains et double la surface totale du domaine, passant de 150 \u00e0 300 ha dont 50 ha de vigne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Et \u00e0 partir des ann\u00e9es ’70, ils se mettent \u00e0 l’Armagnac ce qui fait que les mill\u00e9simes disponibles au domaines vont de 1973 aux ann\u00e9es 2000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour cette version, c’est donc un armagnac de 35 ans<\/strong>, distill\u00e9 en 1988, qui aura vieilli en chais humide<\/strong> et qui titre 49.7%<\/strong>, brut de f\u00fbt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nez<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Nez cr\u00e9meux…. oui, \u00e7a veut pas dire grand chose mais c’est l’impression que \u00e7a donne. C’est bien beurr\u00e9, c’est assez caramel\/beurre sal\u00e9, le vieux bois poussi\u00e9reux, les fruits comme l’abricot, le quetsche, l’orange suivis par le th\u00e9 noir, un l\u00e9ger c\u00f4t\u00e9 sous-bois et les \u00e9pices de No\u00ebl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le profil est tr\u00e8s concentr\u00e9, tr\u00e8s gourmand avec de belles notes de chocolat noir, balsamique, tabac, vanille, caramel mou, pruneaux, dattes et un beau menthol qui vient a\u00e9rer tout cela. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

J’aime beaucoup !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bouche<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

La bouche est assez \u00ab\u00a0rustique\u00a0\u00bb, on va retrouver un bel armagnac d’hiver avec de belles touches bois\u00e9es, mais qui vont rester tr\u00e8s gourmandes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le chocolat noir, les fruits secs, le caramel l\u00e9g\u00e8rement br\u00fbl\u00e9, le poivre, les \u00e9pices de No\u00ebl, des mokatine se lient \u00e0 merveille au l’acidit\u00e9 des agrumes, le cerise confite et le menthol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’alcool est hyper bien int\u00e9gr\u00e9 et fondu \u00e0 l’ensemble, c’est un petit bonbon cette histoire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pwwaaaaa c’est bon \u00e7a ! Sombre mais \u00e7a garde une tr\u00e8s belle concentration, c’est gourmand, plaquant, fruit\u00e9, confit, \u00e9quilibr\u00e9….<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bref, un tr\u00e8s bel armagnac, bravo !<\/p>\n\n\n\n
