Ici, \u00e0 la r\u00e9daction du blog \u00e0 Roger, on est tr\u00e8s fans de ce qui est bon alors quand un Cognac de chez Lh\u00e9raud <\/a>est propos\u00e9 par Grape of the art<\/a>, notre curiosit\u00e9 est assez vite titill\u00e9e…. non, en vrai je ne connaissais pas dutout cette maison, mais ayant re\u00e7u un sample et l’ayant d\u00e9gust\u00e9, je me devais de vous en parler tellement cela est bien fait !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Retour donc en terres cognacaises pour d\u00e9guster \u00e0 nouveau un Bon Bois<\/strong>, mais cette fois ci extr\u00eamement \u00e2g\u00e9 car on parle tout de m\u00eame d’un cognac distill\u00e9 il y a 56 ans !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De plus, il semblerait que Grape of The Art soit le tout premier embouteilleur ind\u00e9pendant \u00e0 avoir pu faire une s\u00e9lection dans leurs chais. M\u00eame si cela ne veut pas dire grand chose, c’est un peu une world premi\u00e8re<\/strong> dirons nous \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab\u00a0De 1860 \u00e0 nos jours, une identit\u00e9 familiale unique s\u2019est forg\u00e9e sur une terre de caract\u00e8re, o\u00f9 passion rime avec discr\u00e9tion. Alexandre Lh\u00e9raud, install\u00e9 en Petite Champagne au service du ch\u00e2telain local, est le premier \u00e0 planter des vignes dans son jardin. Suivront Victor, Jean, Pierre, Eug\u00e8ne, R\u00e9my et Guy. Des hommes de temp\u00e9rament, travailleurs acharn\u00e9s, qui font cro\u00eetre le domaine, affinent leur m\u00e9thode, transmettent la m\u00e9moire de la terre, le soin port\u00e9 au produit. C\u2019est ce qui donne aux cognacs Lh\u00e9raud cette \u00e2me singuli\u00e8re, qui traverse le temps pour mieux s’inscrire dans son \u00e9poque…<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 savoir que 85 hectares de leurs propres vignes sont plant\u00e9 en Petite Champagne<\/strong> mais qu’il y a aussi un peu d’Ugni Blanc en Bon bois<\/strong>, qui donneront entre autre ce mill\u00e9sime 1967.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le cognac a \u00e9t\u00e9 distill\u00e9 par Guy Lh\u00e9raud<\/strong> sur un alambic charentais puis initialement stock\u00e9 dans une cave humide pour ensuite \u00eatre d\u00e9m\u00e9nag\u00e9 dans une cave s\u00e8che. Apr\u00e8s 56 ans, il a finalement \u00e9t\u00e9 embouteill\u00e9 brut de f\u00fbt \u00e0 46% en juillet de cette ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nez<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Nez tr\u00e8s parfum\u00e9 et fruit\u00e9 o\u00f9 l’on pourra trouver de d\u00e9licates notes bois\u00e9es, caram\u00e9lis\u00e9es, fleuries et incroyablement fruit\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pas mal d’abricots, de prunes, de raisins gorg\u00e9s de soleil, d’agrumes confits, de cerises kirsch viennent se marier aux notes douces de vanilles, tabac, fin bois\u00e9, cuir et chocolat au lait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On retrouve m\u00eame un c\u00f4t\u00e9 presque terreux, sous bois \u00e0 l’ensemble qui se m\u00eale tr\u00e8s bien \u00e0 cette corbeille de fruits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’alcool est tr\u00e8s bien int\u00e9gr\u00e9, cela annonce un tout grand moment d\u00e9gustation !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bouche<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

L’entr\u00e9e en bouche est d\u00e9licate et soyeuse, le fin caramel gorg\u00e9 de fruits juteux l\u00e9g\u00e8rement acides se retrouve toujours au premier plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le c\u00f4t\u00e9 sombre de ce cognac est plus en avant qu’au nez et rendra cette d\u00e9gustation encore plus complexe, passant de l’acidit\u00e9 des fruits \u00e0 la chaleur d’un fin bois\u00e9 tr\u00e8s gourmand, de vanille, fleurs jaunes et de belles notes de dattes, figues et autres pruneaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La finale, terreuse et l\u00e9g\u00e8rement r\u00e9gliss\u00e9e est assez soutenue et se termine sur des notes nettement plus fraiches et l’amertume d’un bon jus d’oranges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Incroyable…. un cognac hallucinant d’\u00e9quilibre et offrant un superbe voyage dans le temps. Vraiment une merveille. Merveille qui aura son prix, mais nettement plus justifi\u00e9 que certains rhums hors de prix avec nettement moins de classe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bref, Must Have pour ceux qui peuvent se le premettre !<\/p>\n\n\n\n
