{"id":11844,"date":"2020-08-10T07:23:51","date_gmt":"2020-08-10T05:23:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/leblogaroger.eu\/?p=11844"},"modified":"2020-08-10T07:56:51","modified_gmt":"2020-08-10T05:56:51","slug":"waterford-bannow-1-1-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leblogaroger.eu\/index.php\/2020\/08\/10\/waterford-bannow-1-1-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Waterford Bannow 1.1"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap wp-block-paragraph\">Retour vers des choses plus malt\u00e9es, mais pas en Ecosse cette fois ci, aujourd\u2019hui je vous emm\u00e8ne dans les vertes contr\u00e9es Irlandaise o\u00f9 se d\u00e9roule les pr\u00e9mices de la distillerie <strong><a aria-label=\"undefined (s\u2019ouvre dans un nouvel onglet)\" href=\"https:\/\/waterfordwhisky.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Waterford <\/a><\/strong>avec entre autre ce Single Farm Origin <strong>Bannow 1.1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Donc Waterford, c&rsquo;est une des derni\u00e8res distilleries cr\u00e9\u00e9e en Irlande par un certain <strong>Mark Reynier<\/strong>, plus que connu dans le monde du malt pour avoir entre autre \u00e9t\u00e9 le fondateur de l\u2019embouteilleur <strong>Murray McDavid<\/strong> et \u00e0 l\u2019origine de la r\u00e9surrection de&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bruichladdich.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"undefined (s\u2019ouvre dans un nouvel onglet)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bruichladdich<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Son projet: une distillerie jouant \u00e0 fond la carte de la transparence et du terroir. Pour son whisky, il travaille avec <strong>72 fermes<\/strong> afin de se fournir en c\u00e9r\u00e9ales et surtout, il fait distiller chaque terroir s\u00e9par\u00e9ment afin d&rsquo;en garder les diff\u00e9rentes qualit\u00e9s ! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Du coup, la tra\u00e7abilit\u00e9 est \u00e9norme, chaque lot \u00e9tant suivi de pr\u00e8s durant les diff\u00e9rents processus, maltage, brassage, distillation, vieillissement et embouteillage&#8230; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ainsi, nous avons pour ce Barrow 1.1 un multitude de <a aria-label=\"undefined (s\u2019ouvre dans un nouvel onglet)\" href=\"https:\/\/beta.waterfordwhisky.com\/teireoir\/single-farm-origin-bannow-island-1-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">renseignements<\/a>, du cultivateur, un certain <strong>Ed Harpur<\/strong> jusqu&rsquo;au types de f\u00fbts utilis\u00e9s en passant par les dates d&rsquo;arriv\u00e9es \u00e0 la distillerie et les dates d&rsquo;assemblages des barriques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Distill\u00e9 en 2016, ce whisky a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en bouteille en 2020 et titre 50% pour 8616 bouteilles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">C&rsquo;est donc quelque chose de plut\u00f4t jeune que nous allons d\u00e9guster. <strong>3 ans<\/strong>, 7 mois et 27 jours en fait \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-3 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-amber-color\">Nez<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plut\u00f4t <strong>gourmand <\/strong>et <strong>c\u00e9r\u00e9alier<\/strong>, la premi\u00e8re chose qui me vient en t\u00eate serait une sorte de <strong>beurre <\/strong>de cacahu\u00e8tes et de corn flakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">C&rsquo;est doux et une pointe de caramel, de <strong>toffee <\/strong>et de vanille viennent ajouter un belle couche gourmande \u00e0 l&rsquo;ensemble tr\u00e8s port\u00e9 sur la c\u00e9r\u00e9ale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un aspect fruit\u00e9 est \u00e0 noter aussi avec de <strong>l&rsquo;orange <\/strong>am\u00e8re, du <strong>citron<\/strong> confit le tout recouvert de quelques \u00e9pices comme le <strong>poivre<\/strong> et la muscade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">J&rsquo;y trouve aussi quelques traces de <strong>cuirs <\/strong>et de <strong>fruits secs,<\/strong> me faisant penser \u00e0 un passage en sherry (<em>de fait, 2 f\u00fbts de 500 litres ex olorosso font partie de l&rsquo;assemblage<\/em>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les 50% sont pr\u00e9sents mais pas perturbants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-amber-color\">Bouche<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Huileuse <\/strong>et <strong>grasse<\/strong>, le <strong>toffee <\/strong>revient encore pour nous donner un profil aussi gourmand qu&rsquo;au nez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le <strong>caramel beurre sal\u00e9<\/strong>, <strong>l&rsquo;orange <\/strong>am\u00e8re, les <strong>fruits secs<\/strong>, le cuir et quelques <strong>\u00e9pices<\/strong> sont ici plus en avant que la grosse <strong>c\u00e9r\u00e9ales <\/strong>d\u00e9tect\u00e9e au nez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&rsquo;alcool est tr\u00e8s bien int\u00e9gr\u00e9, le choix des 50 degr\u00e9s est pas mal car cela laisse de la puissance sans pour autant anesth\u00e9sier le palais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La finale est moyenne, sur des notes plus <strong>poivr\u00e9es <\/strong>et <strong>malt\u00e9es<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-amber-color\">Prix<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">75\u20ac<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-amber-color\">Conclusion<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sympa, vraiment \u00e7a se laisse d\u00e9guster avec plaisir et pour un spiritueux si jeune, je trouve que la complexit\u00e9 est d\u00e9j\u00e0 bien mis en place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cela reste \u00ab\u00a0<strong>easy<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb et plut\u00f4t <strong>gourmand<\/strong>, et en tant  que d\u00e9butant dans le monde du whisky, cela ma va fort bien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apr\u00e8s, est ce qu&rsquo;un whisky si jeune m\u00e9rite d&rsquo;\u00eatre vendu si cher ? Perso j&rsquo;ai un gros doute, mais cela n&rsquo;enl\u00e8ve rien aux qualit\u00e9s de la chose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"has-inline-color
